Dr. Holly Shulman worked as an engineer and research scientist with small companies, large corporations, universities and government laboratories on three continents. As a solutions oriented engineer, she focused on scalable, value-added technologies for a variety of ceramic products including cutting tools, wear components, and advanced piezoelectric sensors. Dr. Shulman recognized the need for cross cutting teams that deliver relevant materials science innovations to businesses. She founded Ceralink Inc. in 2000 to connect science and engineering power from her team and other collaborators to manufacturing companies. Our core team has been together for over 10 years. We've had the pleasure of working with brilliant people from Fortune 100 companies such as BASF and GE, to start ups and government laboratories. We have recently expanded our consulting and R&D services to include specialized mechanical testing of ceramic matrix composites.

Spin Off Opportunity

We are excited about a new technology that we are positioning to spin off: a patent applied for high strength reaction bonded silicon carbide that is produced at 10% the cost. The first applications are pump seals and bearings, with semiconductor handling components to follow. The National Science Foundation has named Ceralink's new method a "disruptive technology". Ceralink is a woman owned business, with Dr. Shulman the major shareholder. We are actively seeking partners and investors for this opportunity to take our pilot scale production to full scale manufacturing.
